Equinox entstand 2025, als die Cellistin Ellen Cameron (Blonde in Black) und die Singer/Songwriterin Dayana Stöhr (DALLAN) ihre Kräfte bündelten. Aus der Zusammenarbeit wuchs schnell eine echte Freundschaft — und ein Sound, der Klassik und Pop zu einem intensiven Crossover verschmelzen lässt.
Bei Equinox steht nicht nur eine Person im Mittelpunkt: Wie Tag und Nacht wechseln sich Ellen und Dayana organisch im Zentrum der Performance ab — zwei starke Künstlerinnen, zwei gleich wichtige Energien, die sich gegenseitig tragen.
Ellen Cameron stammt aus St. Paul, Minnesota, und ist international als Cellistin aktiv. Sie arbeitete und spielte mit Künstler*innen wie Donna Summer, Busta Rhymes, Lou Bega, Patrizia Kaas, Laura Pausini, Katherine Jenkins, Il Divo, Bligg, KYGO, Pepe Lienhard, Nek, Simon Estes, Mark Sway, Sina, Michael von der Heide, Nubya, Stiller Has, ABBA Gold und Albert Hammond.
Seit vielen Jahren ist Ellen Cameron regelmaessig in der Orchester- und Kammermusikszene zu erleben und spielt mit dem Zürcher Streichquartett sowie dem Zürcher Symphonieorchester, mit denen sie bis heute eng verbunden ist.
Dayana Stöhr, seit 2015 unterwegs als DALLAN, nutzt Musik als Ventil und Ausdruck für die vielen Eindrücke, die sie sammelt. Emotionen sind ihr wertvollstes Gut — sie verarbeitet sie und gibt sie weiter, mal ihre eigenen, mal die der anderen. Ihre EP Decade (2015), das Album Overturn (2017), die Single Beauty lies in lies (2018 Robot Koch), das Feature Projekt Until We’re Grown (2015) mit Popshop sowie die Single Games (2026) mit der Berner Band Alva Leaves (Gert Stäuble, Luk Zimmermann, Wolfgang Zwiauer, Maja Nydegger) definieren ihre klare musikalische Handschrift. Neben Equinox arbeitet sie an Feature- und Co-Writing-Projekten mit Alva Leaves und ist Teil der Winterthurer Band Lele Javel.
Equinox vereint zwei Künstlerinnen, die ihre Welten musikalisch verschmelzen lassen und gemeinsam einen einzigartigen, harmonischen Klangraum erschaffen.

At Equinox, it’s not just one artist who takes the spotlight: like day and night, Ellen and Dayana alternate naturally at the centre of each performance — two strong artists, two equally important energies supporting each other.
Ellen Cameron, originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, is an internationally active cellist. She has performed and recorded with artists such as Donna Summer, Busta Rhymes, Lou Bega, Patrizia Kaas, Laura Pausini, Katherine Jenkins, Il Divo, Bligg, KYGO, Pepe Lienhard, Nek, Simon Estes, Mark Sway, Sina, Michael von der Heide, Nubya, Stiller Has, ABBA Gold, and Albert Hammond.
For many years, Ellen Cameron has been a regular presence on the orchestral and chamber music scene, performing with the Zurich String Quartet and the Zurich Symphony Orchestra, with whom she remains closely connected to this day.
Dayana Stöhr, performing since 2015 as DALLAN, uses music as an outlet and a way to express the many impressions she gathers. Emotions are her most valuable currency — she processes them and passes them on, sometimes her own, sometimes those of others. Her EP Decade (2015), album Overturn (2017), the single Beauty lies in lies (2018, produced by Robot Koch), the release Until We’re Grown (2015) with Popshop, and the single Games (2026) with the Bern-based band Alva Leaves (Gert Stäuble, Luk Zimmermann, Wolfgang Zwiauer, Maja Nydegger) clearly define her musical voice. Alongside Equinox, she works on feature and co-writing projects with Alva Leaves and is part of the Winterthur-based band Lele Javel.
Equinox brings together two artists, merging their worlds in music to create a unique, harmonious soundscape.
